It is from the Casius region of Mars.
What is this? It does not appear to be
a part of the landscape around it. It does not blend in or "join" the surrounding rock. It is
very symmetrical. Notice the chaos of the rock underneath, whereas the structure itself is very
regular.

The bands are fairly regular.
